After looking at this, I feel no need to tear one apart. I think It may be possible to build a mechanism like this fairly easily, though I'm not sure how fluid the movement would be, or if it would be as easy as doing the plotter thing. Take a look and lets talk this over. Photocells will be here on friday so we'll know how big the ccd will be, and can then determine the size of the camera. |

According to MR. pinhole, if we want a 20 inch rear camera panel, these are our measures:
Focal Length 28.3 718 Pinhole Diameter 0.044 1.13 ? f Stop f 636 Film Dimension 28.3 718 Angle Of View 53.2 Deg Coverage 54.31 1379.367 This is kinda monstrous...tomorrow I'm going to look more into the calculations. |
